Actor Mamukoya’s Passing Leaves A Void In The Entertainment Industry

Actor Mamukoya passed away. He was 76 years old. He died at 1.05 pm at a private hospital in Kozhikode. He was admitted to the hospital after suffering a heart attack during a public event in Vandoor. Hospital officials said the death was due to a heart attack. The body will be placed for public viewing at Kozhikode Town Hall from 3 pm today. The cremation will be tomorrow in Kannamparam Khazarstan. Mamukoya was characterized by the Kozhikode dialect and natural humor. Mamukoya was a talent recommended for the role by talents like Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. Pallikandi means the coastal village of Kozhikode where the Arabian Sea and the Kallaipuzha meet. Mamukoya was born and brought up there. After high school, like many other young people in the country, he went to work in the wood mills near Kallaipuzhaya. At a time when KT Muhammad, Vasupradeep, and others rocked the theaters of Malabar, Mamukoya was also after drama. In 1979, he played a small role in the movie Anyaar Bhoomi.
