‘2018’ is continuing its successful run at the box office breaking the collection records of Malayalam cinema. The film has so far collected 160 crores from the global box office in 24 days. It is also reported that the film continues to be shown in the theaters to full audiences. Now the new report says that ‘2018’ OTT streaming is starting. The film is streaming on Sony Live. The movie ‘2018’ will be available on Sony Live from June 7. This is the first time a Malayalam movie has entered the 150 crore club. The Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi dubbed versions of the film were released this Friday.
The film is directed by Jude Anthony Joseph and is set against the backdrop of the floods in Kerala. The movie stars Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Narine, Lal, Vineeth Srinivasan, Sudheesh, Aju Varghese, Aparna Balamurali, Tanvi Ram, Shivada, Gautami Nair, Siddique, and others. Along with Judd, Akhil P Dharmajan is also involved in writing the screenplay of the film. ‘2018’ was produced by Venu Kunnappilly, CK Padma Kumar, and Anto Joseph. It is expected that ‘2018’, which has become the highest-grossing film in Malayalam, will be well-received in other countries outside India when it reaches OTT as well.
