The Tamil rendition of Mammootty’s CBI 5 has declared its TV debut. The film should be visible on Sunday, November 13 at 1 pm on the Zee Tamil channel. CBI 5 was Mammootty’s subsequent dramatic Released this year. As the fifth portion of the CBI establishment, the film got immense pre-discharge publicity. The Released was on May 1.

But after its release, the film received mixed reviews on social media. Director K Madhu’s response was that there was deliberate negative publicity. He also responded that the film was a success. Meanwhile, the film performed well at the box office. The film collected 17 crores from the first 9 days from overseas markets alone. This is the best collection for a Malayalam film.

Mukesh, Saikumar, Mukesh, Ranji Panicker, Asha Sarath, Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothan, Anoop Menon, Prashant Alexander, Jayakrishnan, Sudev Nair, Aziz Nedumangad, Santosh Keezhatoor, Evala Babu, Prasad Kannan, Kottayam Ramesh, Suresh Kumar, Tantur Krishnan, Anna Reshma Rajan, Ansible Haasan, Malvika Menon, Malvika Nair, Swastika, etc. have lined up in the film. The re-introduction of Jagathy Sreekumar on screen as Vikram was received by the audience with applause in the theatres. The film also received good views in the OTT release. The film reached first place in their India Top 10 Movie List, which was released by the leading platform Netflix.
