Kamal Haasan starrer action flick- Vikram is having a dream run at the box office. Haasan’s first release after a long gap has arisen as one of the best Tamil movies ever. Additionally featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, the action thriller is currently the seventh-most noteworthy grosser from the Tamil entertainment world after Baahubali – The Conclusion, KGF 2, RRR, 2.0, Baahubali – The Beginning, Saaho and Pushpa. The film is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vikram was released in theaters across the globe on June 3 in numerous dialects.

As per Box Office India, “the Tamil film Vikram is looking at a finish in the 225-230 crore nett range making it the second highest grossing film from the Tamil film industry after 2.0 and the seventh highest grosser from the South film industries after Bahubali – The Conclusion, KGF 2, RRR, 2.0, Bahubali – The Beginning, Saaho and Pushpa.”

“In Tamil Nadu it broke the record of Viswasam which was the highest grossing Tamil film of all time in Tamil Nadu before Vikram and it also surpassed Bahubali – The Conclusion which was the highest grosser in Tamil Nadu though thats not a Tamil film. the Box office report added. In the interim, Vikram will hit Disney Plus Hotstar on July 8. It will debut in four distinct dialects – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

About Kamal Haasan’s film
Vikram, a super charged action film is a ‘spiritual successor’ of the 1986 film of a similar name. In the film, Haasan assumes the role of Arun Kumar, a agent working for RAW, India’s outside knowledge organization. Suriya plays an appearance in the film. He showed up as drug organization head Rolex. Tamil whiz Vijay Sethupathi plays a main bad guy in the film. Vikram also stars Santhana Bharathi, Gayathrie, Kalidas Jayaram and Vasanthi among others in supporting jobs
