Actor Shekhar Suman has announced not to celebrate his birthday on 7 December. Suman has said that he will not celebrate due to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Suman wrote on the tweet announcing this, ‘On December 7, I will not celebrate my birthday. This is the least I can do for Sushant. There is no mood of any kind of enthusiasm. Instead I will pray that Sushant be caught and the case should be closed soon.
Earlier on 27 November, Shekhar Suman tweeted, ‘I believe that CBI, NCB and ED have done a good job so far in Sushant’s case. Agencies ranging from interrogation, investigation to arrests have shown fierce activism, but I think they are helpless due to lack of evidence. So we have to wait, maybe the agencies are lucky. ‘
Sushant Rajput’s death on 14 June under suspicious circumstances is still under question. The Mumbai Police was initially considering it a case of suicide, but after all the controversies, the Supreme Court ordered a CBI inquiry. However, more than Sushant’s death, the focus of the case has now shifted to the nexus of drugs. Recently, in this case, the house and office of Bharti Singh was raided by the NCB and arrested them.
